About the event
This class is the third in a new series that focuses on not just the hows of good rope play, but on the whys as well. Whether you are newer to rope or have been tying/getting tied for years, expect to come away with new tools and a better understanding of your rope from both sides.
Through a combination of technical instruction and hands-on time, we will start with a nerdy deep dive into single and double columns to discuss how to evaluate your column ties, directionality, and when to use which tie, then, we will use a calf binder as a “container” to explore balancing tension, creating solid X frictions, building strong stems, and finishing your tie with your own style. We will continue to refine skills for confident rope handling and building muscle memory. If there is time and interest, we will cover how this structure can be…
