About the event
The Takate Kote, also known as a TK or box tie, is the quintessential shibari tie. This foundational chest harness is incredibly versatile and used in many styles of rope bondage.
In this workshop, you'll learn a Kinoko style TK from guest instructor JuteJitsu, who studied this specific pattern directly under Hajime Kinoko in Japan. With a focus on structure, safety, and technique, this workshop will guide you through the building blocks of the tie, including rope handling, tension, and anatomy considerations.
Whether you're new to rope or looking to refine your skills, this is a rare chance to learn from someone trained directly in one of the most respected lineages of Japanese rope.
