About the event
What’s one of the biggest challenges with starting shibari? Rope handling.
In this class, you’ll learn drills you can practice that will help you create better flow, cleaner looking ties, and a stronger connection between yourself and your rope bottom. These skills can be applied across your rope practice to build your confidence as a rigger.
Come with a partner or self tie. Please note that each attendee will need their own ticket.
PREREQUISITES: Students should know basic rope safety as well as how to tie a single column, half hitch, and Munter hitch. Our intro workshop and frictions workshop cover all of these requirements.
SUPPLIES: Yoga mat, safety shears, and at least two hanks of rope. Extras will be available if you don't have them.
